Before I took over the company from “Ecki” in 2015, I worked 24 years for MTU Friedrichshafen.
Starting with an apprenticeship in 1990, I moved on to become a service engineer in 1994. The following 10 years I worked mainly on marine engines on ferries and military vessels all around the world. In 2003 I became an instructor at the MTU Training Center in Friedrichshafen, where I trained customers, distributers, service dealers and MTU service engineers on engines like the Series 099, 183, 2000, 396, 4000, 956 and 1163 up to a major overhaul QL4 (W6).
